Nursery & Kidz Church

Here at Denver Calvary, we take ministering to children very seriously. We believe that children are the church of today! Therefore, we make knowing Jesus and the Bible our focus when ministering to your child. From birth through 5th grade, children have the opportunity to discover Jesus’ unconditional love for them through Bible lessons, crafts, games, and lots of fun!


Our purpose and heart's desire is that Denver Calvary Kidz Church is a ministry where children will come to experience and embrace the love of God through Jesus Christ and experience true, biblical salvation; growing to know, love, and serve Him through the teaching of the Bible, prayer and fellowship; where children learn to worship the Lord with their head and their heart, and to fill their lives with prayer as they grow in faith and the grace and knowledge of Jesus, seeking to glorify God in all things; where parents are equipped and encouraged to effectively carry out their responsibility to nurture the faith of their children "that they may set their hope in God."


Will my children be safe?  

Children’s Ministry servants have had background checks to ensure safety and security. We also use a sign in and sign out system for each child attending Sunday school. 


What will my children learn?

Denver Calvary has invested thousands of dollars into our Answers In Genesis Curriculum. Here are some the key topics;

  • The Bible is Trustworthy - We can trust all of God’s Word.
  • God’s Attributes - God’s attributes are displayed throughout the Bible.
  • Chronological/Historical Teaching - The Bible presents true history, not just “stories.”
  • The Bible’s Redemption - God’s plan of redemption is woven throughout Scripture.
  • Apologetics - We must be ready to give an answer for what we believe.
  • Life Application - We are to live in light of what the Bible teaches.

Denver Calvary Kidz Church also uses a variety of learning tools that are grounded in biblical truth. Children will learn scripture and be taught at a level that they will understand, in a fun and engaging way. 


What are the age groups in the classes? 

We currently have three children's ministry classes: infants/toddlers, preK-1st grade and 2nd-5th grade.


SICKNESS POLICY

If you have a child that is sick or recovering from sickness, please allow adequate time for your child to heal at home in order to keep our classrooms clean and free from illness.
