Awana is a worldwide nonprofit ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship solutions for ages 2 to 18. As the global leader in child and youth discipleship, Awana gives children the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, no matter their background. Denver Calvary offers a mid-week program for ages 3 years old - 6th grade.
Leader-Child Relationships- The Awana Clubs program is designed to foster connection with loving, caring adults so kids know they belong.
Bible Engagement- Learning and memorizing Scripture helps children know the Gospel, study God's Word and believe what it says about life.
Spiritual Development- Through relationships and Scripture, children are discipled to grow deep and lasting faith.
A night at an Awana club balances connection, learning the Gospel and having fun to help kids grow relationally and spiritually.
Large Group Time centers around the week’s Bible lesson, but it’s more than sitting and listening! We make it interactive with puppet shows, worship music, announcements, awards!
Small Group Time huddles a handful of kids around a consistent leader to foster warm relationships as kids ask their questions and discuss the Bible lesson, work through their handbooks and pray together.
